The Experience
You board the fixed-wing at our private terminal at Deer Valley Airport and head north over the Tonto National Forest and Sedona's red rocks, with the San Francisco Peaks, the Painted Desert, and Navajo lands sliding past below. Right at the rim the plane spends 25 to 30 minutes over the canyon's widest and deepest section, giving you the scale of it without a single switchback. Then it turns for the direct flight home; this is an aerial tour only, with no landing or ground time.

Where do we check in for the flight? ▼
Check-in is at our private terminal at Deer Valley Airport, 732 W Deer Valley Rd, Phoenix. Arrive 30 minutes before your confirmed departure with a government-issued photo ID. Transportation to the airport is not provided, so plan your own transfer or rideshare.
Does the tour land at the Grand Canyon? ▼
No. This is a fixed-wing aerial tour only, with a 25- to 30-minute overflight of the canyon's widest and deepest section and no landing. There is no walking or ground time at the canyon. The tour is suitable for ages 2 and up, and lap infants under 2 fly free.
What are the weather and departure conditions? ▼
Flights run year-round and weather permitting, with morning departures timed to seasonal daylight. Only the pilot makes the weather call, and flights may be delayed or rescheduled for wind, visibility, or safety. Your exact departure time is confirmed after booking.
What should I bring? ▼
Bring a government-issued photo ID, layers for the flight, sunglasses, and a camera or phone. Bottled water is provided on board. Check the National Weather Service forecast for Phoenix Deer Valley Airport before you leave.
What is this tour's cancellation and rescheduling policy? ▼
This tour uses a 7-day window. Send cancellations or changes in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 7 days out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees; between 7 days and 48 hours, 60% of the tour fee is charged; inside 48 hours or a no-show, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels for severe conditions, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
