ITINERARY
Discover the best hike in South Mountain. Explore Hidden Valley’s famous landmarks: Fat Man’s Pass, Natural Cave, rock tunnels, and giant boulders. Uncover secrets like ancient petroglyphs and an abandoned mine. Rock hop and scramble over dry waterfalls on this four-mile roundtrip hike with 1,117 feet of elevation gain. Your guide will tailor the pace to your preferences, ensuring a fun, informative experience that includes geology, flora, fauna of the Sonoran Desert, and a relaxing break with snacks and beverages at a scenic viewpoint.

Duration:  3-4 hours of on-trail time.

Departs:  7am; 9am, 11am & 1pm.

Includes:  Permits & entry fees, skilled guide(s), water**, snacks & day packs.  Guides carry First Aid kits & cell phones.

Cost:  $220/solo; $145/person for groups 2-3; $120/person groups 4-10. Call for pricing for groups 11+.  A 20% gratuity will be automatically added to groups 6+

Season:  This tour is available year round. *Due to extreme heat in the summer we only do morning tours from May through September; during this period departure is between 6:30 and 7 AM. 

Skill level:  Beginner to Advanced

Notes:  RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.  Close toe shoes are required; hat & sunscreen recommended.  Don't forget your camera! **Guests must provide their own water bottles; we will have filtered water for refills.

Cancellation Policy:  Our hiking tours do not cancel for rain, however we will cancel them if the weather is considered dangerous.  360 Adventures guides will determine what constitutes dangerous conditions.  All half and full day tours have a 7-day cancelation policy.  If your plans change for any reason, please be sure to call at least 7 days prior to the day of your tour to avoid charges.
