The Experience
You lift off from our Deer Valley terminal in the morning and watch the map unroll beneath you: the Tonto National Forest, Sedona's red rocks, the San Francisco Peaks, the Painted Desert, and Navajo lands. The flight ends with a 25-minute overflight of the Grand Canyon before you land at Grand Canyon Airport, where an open-air Hummer waits to take you along the South Rim. For roughly three hours your guide stops at the big overlooks inside the national park, then a one-hour flight has you back in Phoenix by mid-afternoon.

Where do we check in for the Signature tour? ▼
Check-in is at our private terminal at Deer Valley Airport, 732 W Deer Valley Rd, Phoenix, during the 7 to 8 AM departure window confirmed after booking. Arrive 30 minutes early with a government-issued photo ID. Transportation to the airport is not provided.
How much walking and climbing is involved? ▼
The day is easy sightseeing overall, but guests must be able to climb into and out of the aircraft and the Hummer unaided. At the South Rim, walking is along established paths and scenic viewpoints. The tour is for ages 2 and up.
What about weather and the rim conditions? ▼
Flights run weather permitting, and only the pilot makes the weather call. The South Rim sits near 7,000 feet, so the air is cooler and the sun stronger than in Phoenix. Bring layers, and expect the schedule to shift for wind or visibility.
What should I wear and bring? ▼
Wear comfortable closed-toe walking shoes or light trail shoes, with weather-appropriate layers, a wide-brim hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Bring a camera, a government-issued photo ID, and any medications. Bottled water is provided, and the optional boxed lunch is $20 per person.
What is this tour's cancellation and rescheduling policy? ▼
This tour uses a 6-day window. Send cancellations or changes in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 6 days out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees; within 6 days or a no-show, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels for severe conditions, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
