The Experience
Explore Tempe by electric-assist bike on a relaxed guided ride along paved paths connecting Tempe Town Lake, desert canals, and the Greenbelt’s network of parks and green spaces. Your adventure begins at the Tempe bike shop, where your safety-certified guide will fit your bike and walk you through a pre-ride safety briefing. Then you’ll set out to discover the area on two wheels, with electric assistance making the ride accessible to beginners and a wide range of fitness levels. Along the way, your guide will share stories about Valley of the Sun history, local wildlife, and the Sonoran Desert environment.
The experience lasts approximately two to two and a half hours, including about 90 minutes to two hours of cycling, before returning to the shop. Your tour includes an electric-assist bike, helmet, gloves, bottled water, snacks, insurance, permits, and entry fees. Riders must be at least 12 years old; contact 360 Adventures to confirm the height requirement. Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable athletic clothing, and bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and a camera. Where does the Tempe e-bike tour meet? ▼
The ride starts at our Tempe bike shop, where your guide runs the safety briefing and bike fitting before you head out. Exact shop details and timing are in your booking confirmation. Transportation is available as an add-on if you would rather not drive.
Do I need e-bike experience? ▼
No. The pace is casual on paved paths, and guides cover handling, assist levels, and path etiquette before the ride. Riders must be at least 12 years old; contact us for the height requirement so we can fit the right bike. Expect about 1.5 to 2 hours of easy cycling.
What about weather and desert conditions? ▼
Tours run daily by reservation, with morning and afternoon windows to work around heat. Guides monitor conditions and may adjust the route for weather or safety, and 360 Adventures is not responsible for extra travel expenses from those changes. The Greenbelt is exposed in places, so bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and water.
What should I wear and bring? ▼
Closed-toe shoes are required, along with comfortable athletic clothing. Bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, medications, and a camera. Helmets and gloves are provided with the e-bike, and bottled water and snacks come with the tour.
What is this tour's cancellation and rescheduling policy? ▼
Strict 72-hour window. Send cancellations or changes in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 72 hours out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees; inside 72 hours or a no-show, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
