The Experience
The day starts at Gateway Trailhead in North Scottsdale, where your guide fits your e-bike, runs the safety briefing, and rolls you out on the paved paths at the base of the McDowell Mountains. You ride through Sonoran Desert scenery before leaving the bikes behind for a guided walk into the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, with your guide naming the cactus, trees, and wildlife along the way. Lunch is a local barbecue restaurant, and the day wraps about four to four and a half hours after you started.

- Booking note: groups of 8 or more include an automatic 15% gratuity, guide gratuity is not included, transportation is $295 per activity (up to 10 guests), and private tours may be available for $200 per activity. Tell us heights and any e-bike experience in the special request box.

Where does the e-bike, hike, and BBQ tour meet? ▼
The day begins at Gateway Trailhead in North Scottsdale, where your guide runs the safety briefing and bike fitting. Exact meeting details and timing are in your booking confirmation. Transportation is available as an add-on and covers up to 10 guests.
How much riding and walking is involved? ▼
Plan on roughly 1.5 to 2 hours of casual e-bike riding on paved roads and pathways, then 1.5 to 2 hours on a guided nature walk in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, plus lunch. No e-bike experience is needed. Riders must be at least 12 years old; contact us for the height requirement.
What about heat, weather, and season? ▼
This tour runs October through April only, from 9 AM to 1:30 PM, and is not available May through September because of the heat. Guides monitor conditions and may adjust the plan for weather or safety, and 360 Adventures is not responsible for extra travel expenses from those changes. Bring sun protection and more water than you expect to need.
What should I wear and bring? ▼
Closed-toe shoes are required for both the ride and the walk, along with comfortable athletic clothing. Bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, medications, and a camera with a secure mount. Helmets and gloves come with the e-bike, and lunch, water, and snacks are included.
What is this tour's cancellation and rescheduling policy? ▼
Strict 72-hour window. Send cancellations or changes in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 72 hours out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees; inside 72 hours or a no-show, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
