The Experience
Your ride usually begins at the Pima Dynamite Trailhead in north Scottsdale, where your guide will fit your front-suspension mountain bike, check your gear, and review body position, braking, and handling loose terrain. Once you’re ready, you’ll head onto the Sonoran Desert’s flowing singletrack, riding through saguaro corridors and rugged desert terrain. Your guide will select a route suited to your group’s ability and the day’s trail conditions, so the ride can accommodate everyone from beginners to experienced mountain bikers.
Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to stop for water and photos while your guide shares insights into the surrounding desert’s ecology and geology. Expect about two hours of riding, finishing back at the trailhead. Your tour includes a certified guide, front-suspension hardtail mountain bike, helmet, gloves, water, snacks, permits, and entry fees; full-suspension upgrades are available for an additional charge. Riders must be at least 12 years old, and closed-toe shoes are required. Wear comfortable athletic clothing, bring sun protection and any personal medications you need, and get ready to explore Scottsdale’s desert trails on two wheels.

Essential Tour FAQs
Where do we meet, and how do I find you? ▼
We usually meet at the Pima Dynamite Trailhead, 28777 N Pima Rd, Scottsdale. Some departures use a different trailhead for the day's route; after booking, your guide confirms the exact meeting point, parking, and arrival time. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early for bike fitting and the safety briefing.
What skill level and fitness do I need? ▼
Beginner to Advanced. Your guide matches the route to your group, from smoother, less technical trails to rockier singletrack with climbs and elevation changes. Riders must be at least 12 and able to mount, dismount, and walk a bike on uneven ground. Basic balance, braking, and shifting skills help, but beginner routes do not require prior trail experience.
What about heat, storms, and trail conditions? ▼
Tours run rain or shine. We monitor heat and trail conditions, and we cancel only for dangerous weather or unsafe trails, at 360 Adventures' sole discretion. Summer departures move earlier to avoid the hottest part of the day. Carry more water than you think you need and expect full sun.
What footwear and clothing are required? ▼
Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Wear comfortable athletic clothing, with bike shorts recommended, and bring sun protection, any medications, and a camera or phone. Flat pedals are standard; if you requested clipless pedals, bring your cycling shoes and cleats.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy? ▼
Strict 72-hour policy. Send cancellations or changes in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 72 hours out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees. Inside 72 hours, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels for conditions, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
