The Experience
The day starts with a pickup from a select Scottsdale or Phoenix resort, or a nearby meeting point confirmed the day before, then the drive to the Cline Cabin Road staging area in the Tonto National Forest, where the H1 is already parked at the edge of the rock. After a safety briefing you climb into the open-air Hummer and the trail turns technical almost immediately: boulder fields, side-slope tilts, and dry waterfalls that the machine walks up rather than around. Your guide coaches each obstacle from the driver's seat and stops for water, snacks, and photos when the dust settles. Two hours later you are back at staging, still grinning, with the Hummer in one piece.

- Booking note: solo travelers and pairs can book online; we pair you with an existing vehicle run to meet the 3-passenger launch threshold. Closed-toe shoes are required, and pregnant guests cannot participate. Pickup is arranged from select Scottsdale and Phoenix resorts and confirmed the day before; you may be asked to meet at a nearby point. If you are driving yourself, the remote trailhead requires your own vehicle or roundtrip transit. Prices do not include 8.1% sales tax and a 5% fuel surcharge.

Essential Tour FAQs
Where does the advanced Hummer tour stage? ▼
Pickup is arranged from select Scottsdale and Phoenix resorts, with the route confirmed the day before; depending on the route you may be asked to meet at a nearby point. We then drive you to the designated off-road area on Cline Cabin Road in Tonto National Forest, off the Fort McDowell/Highway 87 corridor. If you are driving yourself, the staging area is at GPS 33°40'09.7"N 111°29'43.7"W; it is a remote trailhead, so plan your own vehicle or arrange roundtrip transit in advance.
Can solo travelers or couples book? ▼
Yes. Solo travelers and pairs can book online and are paired with an existing vehicle run to meet the 3-passenger launch threshold. The tour is for ages 6 and up, and every guest must be able to climb into the open-air H1 with minimal assistance.
How rugged is the trail? ▼
This is the most technical H1 route, with steep boulder climbs, side-tilts, and dry waterfalls, and the vehicle has 16 inches of ground clearance. Expect a jarring, high-adrenaline ride. Pregnant guests cannot participate, and the tour is not recommended for guests with neck or back conditions.
What should I wear and bring? ▼
Closed-toe shoes are required. Wear comfortable clothes you can get dusty, with sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen. Bring a camera and any medications. Water and trail snacks are provided.
What is this tour's cancellation and rescheduling policy? ▼
Strict 72-hour window. Send cancellations or changes in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 72 hours out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees; inside 72 hours or a no-show, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels for severe conditions, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
