The Experience
The day starts in Payson, where you meet your guide and caravan to the gear-up spot. From there you hike to the canyon edge, pull on your wetsuit and technical gear, and run through the rappel basics before dropping in. From the first descent, the route follows flowing water through narrow passages, with rappels down waterfalls and deep pools you swim across between them. Your guide coaches each descent and sets the pace for the group, with a snack break on a dry rock shelf before you climb out at the end of the drainage.

Essential Tour FAQs
Where do we meet, and how do I find you? ▼
We rendezvous at a designated staging location in Payson, then caravan to the canyon put-in. Your guide sends the exact coordinates, driving instructions, and timing before the tour.
Do I need canyoneering experience or strong swimming? ▼
No technical experience is needed; guides coach every rappel. You must be able to swim unaided in deep, moving water. Ages 8 and up, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
What should I wear and bring? ▼
Wear trail running shoes with sticky rubber tread; heavy hiking boots get waterlogged and water shoes lack support. Bring 24 to 32 ounces of water in a leak-proof bottle, a change of dry clothes, and a post-tour lunch in a cooler. Wetsuits, harnesses, helmets, ropes, and canyon backpacks are provided.
What happens if the weather turns? ▼
Wet canyons are weather-sensitive. We monitor regional storms and hold sole discretion on whether conditions are safe. If weather makes the canyon unsafe, we will reschedule or cancel with a full refund.
What is the cancellation policy? ▼
Strict 72-hour policy. Send cancellations or rescheduling requests in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 72 hours out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees. Inside 72 hours, or a no-show, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels for conditions, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
