The Experience

Your afternoon starts at the Deer Valley Airport balloon parking area about two and a half hours before sunset, where the crew inflates the envelope and the pilot runs the safety briefing. You lift off for a drift of an hour and a half to two hours over desert washes and mountain foothills as the light turns gold, with the pilot pointing out Downtown Phoenix, Camelback Mountain, Lake Pleasant, and State Farm Stadium while the valley begins to glow. After landing, the crew sets a table in the brush for gourmet hors d'oeuvres and a champagne or cider toast before you head back to the airport.

Where do we meet, and how do I find you? ▼

We meet at the Deer Valley Airport balloon parking area, 702 W Deer Valley Rd, Phoenix. Check-in is about two and a half hours before sunset, and your exact meeting time is confirmed after booking.

Is there a minimum age or health requirement? ▼

Guests must be at least 5 years old and 48 inches tall, and everyone completes a waiver before the flight. You need to climb into and out of the basket unassisted, and the flight is not recommended for pregnant guests or anyone with recent surgery or fractures.

When is the evening flight available? ▼

Afternoon flights run generally from November through April, with check-in about two and a half hours before sunset. The clock time shifts with the season, and the shared flight requires a minimum of 4 passengers.

What if the weather is bad, and what should I wear? ▼

Balloon flights are weather-dependent. If conditions are not safe to fly, we will work with you to reschedule. Wear closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate layers, and bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera.

What is the cancellation policy? ▼

Strict 72-hour policy. Send cancellations or changes in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 72 hours out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees. Inside 72 hours, or a no-show, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
