Salt River Sunset Stand-Up Paddle Boarding & Wildlife Tour

Tours stage at our Lower Salt River staging area at the Canal/Hawes Trailhead Park & Ride (3055 N Power Rd, Mesa) before shuttling to the water launch. Your guide calls ahead with timing and parking details. Arrive 15 minutes early to fit your board, leash, and PFD.

This is an intermediate tour, so you should be comfortable balancing and paddling on moving water, though the guide coaches stance and stroke before launch. Guests must be at least 12 years old and weigh at least 90 lbs to fit the board and PFD. Expect about 1.5 to 2 hours of paddling with breaks. This tour requires a minimum of 4 guests to operate. Smaller parties and solo adventurers are warmly welcomed—we regularly combine groups to reach the minimum departure size. Your card is pre-authorized at checkout and is only finalized once your departure is confirmed.

Tours run year-round. March through August departs at 4 PM or 5 PM; September through February moves to 3 PM to catch the earlier sunset. Guides monitor weather and flow, and 360 Adventures may reschedule or cancel for lightning, flooding, or unsafe water. Bring a light layer for the shuttle back after sundown.

Secure water shoes or sport sandals with a heel strap are required; no flip-flops or bare feet. Wear quick-drying athletic clothing and bring a light layer for the evening. Pack sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, a hat, a waterproof phone case, and a change of clothes.

Strict 72-hour window. Send cancellations or changes in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 72 hours out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees; inside 72 hours or a no-show, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels for severe conditions, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
