The Experience
Discover the Grand Canyon beyond the overlooks on a private guided hiking adventure tailored to your group’s interests, fitness, and experience. Your day begins with pickup from your lodging in Flagstaff, Williams, Tusayan, or Grand Canyon Village before heading to the South Rim. Your guide will select the best route for the day, with options including the South Kaibab, Grandview, Hermit, and Bright Angel trails, or a walk along the Rim Trail. As you explore, your guide will bring the canyon to life with insights into its geology, native history, plants, and wildlife, helping you understand the landscape beyond its spectacular views.
The day includes guided hiking, time to enjoy the South Rim’s viewpoints and historic Grand Canyon Village, and a gourmet picnic lunch at a scenic location. The full experience lasts approximately 5.5 to 9.5 hours, depending on your pickup location and itinerary, with at least five hours spent in the park. Your tour includes private round-trip transportation, a professional guide, lunch, snacks, bottled water, daypacks, trekking poles, and National Park entry fees. Beginner and intermediate hikes are available, with minimum ages of 7 and 12, respectively. Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate layers, and bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and any personal medications you need. Let your guide handle the logistics while you experience the Grand Canyon at a pace that works for your group.

Roundtrip transportation from your lodging is included, with pickups in Flagstaff, Williams, Tusayan, and Grand Canyon Village. Pickup times are coordinated with your booking, and the guide confirms exact logistics the day before. The tour departs daily at 8 AM in line with seasonal daylight.
How difficult is the hike? ▼
The day is moderate and customizable, with a rim walk or a shallow inner-canyon trail selected for your ability and the weather. The tour is designed for ages 8 and up, and children under 8 can be arranged through our contact form. The South Rim sits near 7,000 feet, so expect the altitude to slow you down a little.
What are the weather and rim conditions? ▼
Tours run year-round and in most weather, with the trail chosen around current conditions. Summer brings afternoon storms and strong sun, while winter can bring snow and ice at the rim, so layers and traction matter. 360 Adventures cancels only for severe or hazardous conditions.
What should I wear and bring? ▼
Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes with good tread, weather-appropriate layers, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Bring a camera, personal medications, and a small bag for essentials. Daypacks, trekking poles, lunch, snacks, and bottled water are provided.

This tour uses a 7-day window. Send cancellations or changes in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 7 days out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees; inside 7 days or a no-show, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels for severe conditions, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
