You’ll meet your professional guide at a trailhead selected for your adventure, then follow winding desert paths through manzanita groves and across sandstone slickrock. Along the way, your guide will share insights into the region’s geology, native plants, wildlife, and natural history, bringing the landscape to life beyond the views. The route is chosen to suit your group, with scenic overlooks and photogenic red rock formations providing plenty of opportunities to stop, explore, and take photos.
Over approximately two to three hours, you’ll enjoy a relaxed-paced hike with time to appreciate the surroundings rather than rush from one destination to the next. Your guide handles the route planning and navigation, so you can focus on the experience and the scenery. The tour includes a professional guide, natural interpretation, and a route selected for your group. You’ll need to bring your own water, sun protection, and any personal medications, along with sturdy, closed-toe hiking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. The tour operates year-round, with meeting details provided after booking based on the selected trail. Essential Tour FAQs
Where does the private Sedona hike meet? ▼
The hike meets at our Sedona staging location in the Village of Oak Creek or a designated trailhead chosen for your route. The exact meeting point is confirmed with your booking, and your guide calls the afternoon or evening before to cover details and answer questions.
How difficult is the private hike? ▼
The terrain is easy to moderate, and because the tour is private, the pace is set to the slowest member of your group. Routes cover roughly four miles with adjustments for ability, interests, and heat. The hike is for ages 6 and up, with distance and pace scaled for younger children.
What about weather and trail conditions? ▼
Tours run year-round. October through April offers 8 AM or 1 PM starts; May through September moves to 6 AM to beat the heat. Guides monitor conditions and may adjust the route for weather, seasonal trail changes, or park advisories. 360 Adventures cancels only for dangerous conditions.
What should I bring? ▼
Sturdy closed-toe hiking shoes or boots are required. Bring weather-appropriate layers, sun protection, plenty of water, and snacks, plus a camera and any medications. If your tour spans lunch, pack a lunch for a red rock picnic. A Red Rock Pass is required for trailhead parking.

Strict 72-hour window. Send cancellations or changes in writing through our contact form; replies to your confirmation email cannot be processed. More than 72 hours out, you receive a full refund minus card processing fees; inside 72 hours or a no-show, the booking is charged in full. If 360 Adventures cancels for severe conditions, you receive a 100% refund including fees.
